Another non-conventional methodology to apply in Training :

RIDDLES

When starting a meeting your mates are relaxed, chatting, smoking, waiting for you to brake the ice.

How do you see a challenge as a warm-up?


- If it is Individual: Promotes creativity, and lateral thought when solving it.
- If it is solved by two or three persons : you add the result of the links.
- If it is resolved by all the participants: it turns into a brainstorming


Following you will find a set of selected riddles. Short riddles that can be solved in 5 to 15 minutes.
You can have “an ace up your sleeve”, if the game get stuck.

NOAH ’S ARK .
How many animals of each species did Moises take to the ark?

In this riddle, you generally see that the solution is searched through a wrong way. People get distracted thinking about Santiago, or the size of the head depending if the person is fat or skinny.

ANSWER: 60 MINUTES

You take a pill, half an hour later you take the second part. To solve this problem it is necessary to draw the time mentally. You will find people who finds this very difficult.

This riddle requires to leave the logical thought and starts to look for another direction. Once you figure out that it is not a geographical search… is when you are in tune with the other hemisphere

 

CHICKEN LITTLE:
Two boys found a chick in a 2 meter deep and 10 centimetre diameter hollow. How could it be possible to take it out without using sticks that could hurt the chick?
ANSWER: Pouring sand in the hollow and let him get by itself


In this riddle it is necessary to think as a chick. Stop thinking about how to take it out of the hollow and start thinking about what to do for the chicken little to go out of the hollow. Thus I turn an obstacle into a solution!!

 

STOCKINGS
There are 5 red , 5 green and 5 blue stockings in a drawer. Which is the minimum number of stockings needed to pull out of the drawer, in order to get a pair of stockings of the same colour. ANSWER: four stockings
